Sinking Feeling

So it's like this......we turn up for this gig yesterday at the Hope & Anchor....and we're on last...and it's almost 11pm by the time we're on stage... and it's about ten past 11 by the time Dove has finished introducing us and shut the fuck up....and wadya know we get half way through our big Christmas song opening number and I forget the words.

Stopping my fingers from having blisters

Well I though this would be a good question to ask. I have been playing for many years now and I am experiencing a case of finger blistering when I play live. I am using ground wound strings and I am thinking it might be the reason. Oh. Yes blistering only happens on my right hand , as I am right handed.

So, can anyone give me some tips. Have a Joly good Christmas and happy new year. Peace.

Whatever the chemistry wasn't there and nothing really happened. I was a… Continue

A gigging weekend

Sometimes you just have to tell people about what happens to you, so how about this:

Friday 4th December, I meet two members of 14 Carat Grapefruit (Tim - one of the best guitarists in the band and Otto, the only lead singer in the band) at the Assembly Rooms in Camden. A couple of beers later and we're standing in the Forum watching The Urban Voodoo Machine - support to the New York Dolls. What a band! Unfortunately we were late and only saw three numbers, however, the effect will… Continue
