Personal Pages

Appearance:

By going to SETTINGS (right hand column) and then APPEARANCE, you can change the theme, background, fonts, colours etc. of your personal page. You can also add music, RSS feeds, videos, photos, text and widgets.

If you're anything like me you tinker endlessly with these options and your page ends up looking like a dog's dinner. The good thing is that it's all undo-able.

As long as you are signed in, you can also move the various parts or 'modules' of your page around. For instance you can move the ACTIVITY down the page and your PROFILE up, your MUSIC PLAYER up, and your WALL COMMENTS down. And so on. You can also limit the amount of comments that show in your comments feed.

You can add endless text and GIF/Jpeg banners too.

Facebook/Twitter:

You can connect your status updates with your Twitter and/or Facebook pages. You can also 'fire' anything you write (blogs/discussions etc) over to Facebook and Twitter, which is a good way of further promoting yourself, your band or your gigs. To do this go to SETTINGS, then CONNECTIONS.

Changing your Profile Name/URL:

You can change your profile name and/or your URL (your web address) by going to SETTINGS, then MY PAGE, then PROFILE and/or MY ADDRESS
